Denby High School promotes the Student Centered Learning model utilized across the Education Achievement Authority of Michigan schools, which allows students to work at their own pace, provides them with choice, and gives them individualized attention to create the best possible academic outcomes. Denby adheres to the Common Core State Standards, which focuses on the development of students' skills, and uses project-based learning to connect students' learning to their communities and lives.
